A few weeks ago (maybe a month), I was driving down Carnahan Road and witnessed a bona fide prairie fire. This is exactly the kind of thing you read about in Little House on the Prairie (or didn't). Here's a picture I took, while driving, from my phone... pretty intense.

In other news, the Africa trip is approaching quickly. Still working on getting a travel visa for Sudan. Getting into Sudan isn't as easy, as, say, Canada.

Are you suggesting that maybe God is calling us to Canada? - I hope not (knock on the holiest piece of acacia wood you can find).
